It's simple, allow open borders, with legal checkpoints allowing anyone who is abiding by the law into our melting pot. However, one condition must be placed upon such a simple system in order for it to work:
Remove ALL Socialist organizations from our government. No exceptions. If we do this then we will attract people who provide and work hard to create the American dream for themselves. Bottom feeders will no longer flood our country because there is no socialism for them to feed off of.
Illegal immigration is not the problem, it is a symptom. The real problem that plagues our country is that we have created a system that rewards slothfulness. Socialism, despite it's proponents claims of "just trying to help people" in fact will always lead to rewarding the lazy and punishing the expedient.
If we remove the reward of free healthcare, education, food, housing, etc... for those who do not contribute to their own livelihood, people would be forced to work for the fruits of their labor.
This will reduce the number of people who claim to need financial assistance and leave behind those who truly do. For those few remaining, who truly do need aid, there are always private charities. Which I may remind everyone have always been more honest, frugal, and overall more helpful to those in need than any government sponsored program (ie the LDS plethora of charities).
Ridding our productive citizens of cumbersome taxes will allow for more economic growth which will lead to more advancements in technology and in job growth, reducing poverty, which will increase others' desire to join our great nation and also produce a fruitful life. Immigration issue solved.
Often the problems of our Nation are not as difficult as they are made out to be. Our founding father's gifted us with the greatest system of government the world has ever seen, if we only abide by it's laws we will thrive.
